Supermilk
SUPERMILK is an indie rock band and music project from London, England. Originally the solo recording endeavour of multi instrumentalist Jake Popyura, SUPERMILK has been releasing music since 2017 with a full band incarnation active since 2022. Formed from the ashes of Popyura's previous band DOE, bassist and lead vocalist Jake took his art in a new direction on debut LP Death Is The Best Thing For You, before releasing LP #2 Four By Three just over a year later. With these two albums being entirely solo records, LP #3 HIGH PRECISION GHOSTS is the first album to feature SUPERMILK as a full band, with Jake at the helm assisted by current and previous members of NERVUS, WORRIERS, ONSIND, PERSONAL BEST and NATHY SG. Influenced by the first slew of UK Punk, American New Wave, American Pre-Grunge and MidWest Emo, SUPERMILK utilise the energy and attitude of those genres and fuse it with urgent choruses that detail their deepest thoughts on everyday life in their own special way.

Bright Light Bright Light
BRIGHT LIGHT BRIGHT LIGHT’s 5th full LP ENJOY YOUTH made a huge splash in the UK chart on its release, topping the UK iTunes Album Chart by the end of release week - even ahead of Billie Eilish! As a fully independent album it also peaked as #1 Indie Breaker Album, #3 Independent Album, #7 Album Download Chart, #8 Album Sales Chart #9 Vinyl Album Chart and #10 Scottish Album Chart. The album ‘Enjoy Youth’ features collaborations with dance legend Ultra Naté, Sam Harper (voice of Riton 'Friday Night'), Berri (known for her huge 90s hit ‘Sunshine After The Rain’) and Beth Hirsch (who features on Air’s classic album ‘Moon Safari’). Packed full of glittering electropop, 90s house and big dollops of HiNRG synthpop, it's an album that acknowledges our dystopian times and offers up an escapist alternative.
